About the project and villa
This renovation project took a fantastic shell of a villa and turned it into something that wouldn’t look out of place in Gatsby’s 1960’s New York. With numerous Art Deco references throughout the interior design, the villa’s charm is in its shared spaces – suitable for a family living in Turkey.
Sight lines and floor plans echo high-class mid-century industrialism while wood ascents throughout the home connecting spaces together. The villa connects the inside and outside together in a way that could only be dreamed of in the 1960’s. Large gardens provide a generous amount of space, a rarity in Istanbul.
The ground floor features a large patio area that faces towards the garden, while the upper floor has a grand balcony. In total, the villa has two bedrooms, both equipped with en-suite private bathrooms, along with a third family bathroom.
