The Palm Beach Club has a shallow area of water for children and non-swimmers in a private bay which has been set aside particularly for families. They have a secluded platform on the sea for sun bathing which provides the ideal spot for relaxation.
There are a wide variety of water sports on offer including the rental of speed boats with or without a skipper, jet skis, lessons or sessions of water skiing, wake boarding, mono boarding, knee boarding, banana and flying fish and also their own part of Kalkan beach.
The beach is an attractive man made pebble beach which is adjacent to Kalkan harbour making it the ideal spot to sit and watch the boats sail in and out, there is just something so calming about this particular pastime!
Sun loungers and umbrellas are available along with changing rooms, toilets and a vast array of restaurants; nothing has been forgotten.
The Palm Beach Clun highlight must be their Wednesday evenings where every week they host a BBQ with a huge selection of locally caught fish on offer as well as red meat and poultry, this makes for a great evening out and well worth going to.
If you are planning your day it is advisable to arrive early to have a choice of places, they have in the excess of 30 sun beds available on the beach and upwards of 50+ around the various places situated towards the heart of the club. On average a full day including lunch, refreshments and a couple of ice creams will work out in the region of £15 per person. This is based on a family of four with the two adults having a couple of alcoholic drinks each at lunchtime.
Exceptional value really and there is no worries on how to get back to your accommodation at the end of your day. The reviews are all positive for the Palm Beach Club and this is why it is a must see and highly recommended attraction regardless of age and likes or dislikes, particularly the Wednesday BBQ where there is plenty to eat amongst a pleasant party style atmosphere.
