Location in Selimiye
An authentic village, Selimiye is full of charm and offers a peaceful lifestyle in a rural setting, ideal for those looking for an authentic life in Turkey. It takes around 35 minutes to drive from Selimiye to the resort of Marmaris where you will find an abundance of things to do and a lively atmosphere during the summer period. Catamaran trips from Marmaris include heading out to the Greek islands of Rhodes and Simi.
Quiet in the winter for those looking to escape, Selimiye awakes during the summer, as the village becomes a lively, yet still relatively peaceful, seaside resort with plenty of cafes and restaurants to dine out and spend time with friends. A 2km shoreline offers opportunities for yachtsmen and discerning holidaymakers.
