Turkish Cargo winner of Europe’s Best Air Cargo Brand

In a statement delivered by the press office for Turkish Air, they proudly announced at the Air Cargo News Awards 2020 that Turkish Cargo, which is a subsidiary of (THY) Turkish Airlines had been named as the Best Cargo Airline in Europe. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the award ceremony had to be held virtually for the first time ever in its history.

Winners at the award ceremony had undergone strict scrutiny, in which supply chain experts voted on the quality, efficiency, speed, innovation, and vision of all shortlisted candidates for the award.

Ilker Aci, the Chairman of Turkish Airlines, included his own views in the statement from the company, saying: “Our Turkish Cargo Brand, which has been awarded the best air cargo brand in Europe, continues to make our country proud by achieving sustainable success with its air cargo operations carried out all over the world.”

He also noted that even through this time and ongoing crisis, “Turkish Cargo produces more effective solutions with the new technologies and innovative approaches it uses and develops and continues its success during the challenging pandemic process.”
