Calis Beach provides a 4 km stretch of dark sand and shingle. Water sports are particular popular here whilst Aqua City water park is the perfect place for children and just a five minute walk.
Calis Beach is quiet with regards to nightlife. The numerous bars and restaurants appeal more to families and couples wishing to dine and watch the sunset from these seafront venues. Just a ten minute drive takes you to the centre of Fethiye where nightclubs play a mix of Turkish and British music until the early hours.
Built into the mountainside at Fethiye are tombs that are from the 4th century and next door to the tombs a fortress that was believed to have been built by European Crusaders.
