We also have 4,500 and 3,200-metre tracks."

Swim or ski? Take your pick

A tourist told how much she had enjoyed her first visit to the ski centre Saklikent. The name is rather apt as in Turkish it has the meaning hidden city. The tourist said that this is like no other mountain she has ever seen and added: "I struggled with skiing at first, but I got help from the coach. It is very comfortable to spend a vacation in Turkey as we were able to swim and ski."

Another traveller from the Netherlands, said that he used to ski with his travelling companions in either Austria or Switzerland every year, but they chose Antalya for a change. He noted how different the climate is and said: "The temperature in Antalya city centre was 22 degrees Celsius (71.6 degrees Fahrenheit). We went to the beach and then came here to ski. We learned that there will be snow until April. So, we will come again in April."
