The beach is bordered by an attractive promenade with small shops, cafes and restaurants and provides a pleasant distraction from the midday sun.  

The blue lagoon at Oludeniz is unnaturally calm making it the perfect place for a variety of water sports but more importantly it is extremely safe for even the smallest of children to swim. Some areas of the lagoon are protected and incorporated in the national park which is home to the most spectacular inland bay that stretches beyond the cape and whilst there is a small charge to enter but it is definitely well worth a visit. There are also several other beaches close by that can be reached either on foot or by boat and provide great variety for all.

The area has excellent transportation links and it is easy to get around the area.
