Ground floor:

Entering the villa from its rear entrance you’ll find yourself in a spacious, light-filled hall. Your eye will be instantly drawn to the incredible Aegean Sea view, which is on show from every corner of this space. On your left hand side towards the rear of the house you’ll find the kitchen. Kitted out with the most exquisite, modern appliances and granite work tops, this room would make a top chef drool. An island in the middle of the 35m2 space provides extra work space while an American bar, separating the kitchen from the main dining area, is the perfect spot for casual meals. Built in a semi open plan design, the kitchen is separated from the main living area by a separator wall containing a large aquarium.

Despite the living area’s open plan design and 50m2 size, the space feels cosy thanks to a separator wall containing a gas fireplace. The fireplace warms the living space on cool winter evenings as well as providing a gentle illumination throughout the room.

When you raise your eyes you’ll see the atrium surrounding the living room, meaning that this central living area has ceilings of almost 7.5 metres high. The living space is sea-facing, and designers have wisely turned this aspect to its best advantage with huge floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the incredible views over Yalikavak town, marina and of course, the cerulean Aegean Sea. The living space is designed so that this unparalleled vista is showcased from every corner of the living space from the atrium to the sunken living area. The upper section of the window has adjustable built-in shades to block the excess sunshine without compromising the panoramic views. 

To the right hand side of the hall there is a ground floor bedroom with a large en suite and a balcony that opens onto the pool deck. This is an ideal spot for those who wish to reside on the lower level.

Pool and deck: 

This is where this villa’s design really comes into its own. The villa’s layout is comprised of three cubic sections, with the section containing the living area jutting forward. When the living area’s front panels are opened the interior of the living area becomes an outdoor living space that aligns with the dining room terrace. With this clever feature our designers have ensured a perfect indoor-outdoor flow.

The deck area contains a large pool. At almost 12 metres long and eight metres wide, this is one of the largest private pools on the peninsula. At the pool’s sea-facing, an inverted L shape section runs parallel to the sea, where there are stools and an infinity feature. This sunset infinity feature is the ideal spot for enjoying a cocktail as the sun goes down.

The decking consists of high quality teak with travertine, while the pool itself is clad with marble. To the right of the pool you’ll see a garden BBQ area with a pergola-style shade. This garden area provides guests and residents a shady poolside seating option.

Beneath the pool is an extra living space of 60m2, which can be utilised as a caretaker home, a self-contained guest suite or a large leisure suite. This apartment will have a living room, small kitchen, a double bedroom and a small private garden. And, of course, the striking sea views you’d expect. 

First floor:

Upstairs, two bedrooms are accessible on the right hand side of the catwalk. The front-facing bedroom has a separator wall, behind which you will access a walk-in dressing room and a huge Jacuzzi bathroom. At the front of the bedroom there is a spacious balcony from which to enjoy the view. 

The second first floor bedroom is accessed from the rear of the catwalk. You can see the sea from the room’s side windows, and a balcony provides a view of the mountains to the rear of the property. This bedroom is suitable for conversion to an office space.

On the left hand side of the catwalk you’ll see another master bedroom. This bedroom has a similar set up to the front-facing right wing bedroom, with a separate Jacuzzi, bathroom and dressing room. The area:

This contemporary villa for sale in Bodrum is located in the peninsula’s most exciting town. Yalikavak (or Sandyma as it was known in 2000 BC), is the second largest town on the peninsula.
